Longtime Mr . trump associate Roger Stone is placed show up July 24 before the House Intelligence Committee, which happens to be examining contacts between Russia plus the Trump presidential campaign, according to Stone’s attorney.

As he left his interview, Podesta was asked if ever the Obama administration tried enough to counter Russia’s election interference. “I think they were attempting to make the very best judgments they can with respect to the United states citizens,” he was quoted saying.
In a contact, Stone told POLITICO he were going to testify specifically to counter Podesta.
“With John Podesta appearing prior to when the committee We do feel it is very important which i have a chance to rebut his serial lies,” Stone said inside an email. “I probably are not in the position to sue a part of Congress but I sure as hell can sue the f— outside of Podesta. The report that I have information about the hacking of his email by WikiLeaks ahead of time is really a demonstrable lie.”
Podesta could not respond to a later request comment.
The committee decided to interview Stone as well as others this month but Democrats squeeze hearings on hold amid a public spat between committee chairman Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) and ranking member Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.).
A spokeswoman for Rep. Mike Conaway (R-Texas), the Republican leader of the House Intelligence Committee probe, declined comment about Stone’s scheduled appearance.
